Message from David on details:

“Here is the three day option.

This tour starts on Monday May 9 (which happens to be my birthday).

Day one starts with a relatively easy 130km. We’ll kick off in Danang, stop for a coffee in Hoi An, then head into the countryside (via a stretch on the Highway) for some flat riding through rice paddy scenery with a punchy climb to finish the day. After checking in at the hotel, BBQ meat is on the menu for dinner.

Day two is another 130km, starting with some great descending before two solid climbs (8km at 5% and 11km at 5%) going deeper into hill country and finishing at a Co Tu minority village for the night. Enjoy a Co Tu feast in the communal house for dinner. Accommodation is in beautiful bungalows based on the traditional Co Tu stilt house design and furnished with comfy beds.

Day three will be 120km. After a breakfast of pancakes, eggs and strong Vietnamese coffee at Bpai’s riverside cafe we will kick off with some solid climbing before some fantastic rolling roads taking us deeper into Vietnam. We’ll then turn off onto a smaller side road and ride to the top (1500m) of remote ‘Cinnamon Peak’ near the Laos border. After lunch we’ll ride back toward Danang and then jump in our bus for a transfer to town.

I’ve worked on the budget to try and get it cheaper for your Shanghai crew. For a group of 8 or more we can make it $419 as an introductory offer. For 4 people it will be $479.

In terms of what’s included, essentially it’s everything but the alcohol. Included: support vehicle, ride guide (David Lloyd), accommodation on day one and two, all meals (except dinner on day three), water and snacks, a Velo Vietnam jersey and T shirt and your transfer back to Danang on day three.

Looking forward to hearing what you think.

Best regards

David”
