Taiwan simply said is great for riding. Great roads, great hills and great coffee along with clean accommodation and nice food and very friendly people. I’m joining a friend from England and another from Japan on a hill road climb feast at the end of February. Two serious hill climbing days are planned for the 28th and 29th covering about 6000m climbing in total. Then followed for either a bus back to Taipei or if others are interested cycling back there. Then if others interested maybe a few days of Stupidman training in Taipei.
The below dates are confirmed.
02 27: Arrive Taipei
02 28: Drive to Nantou early. 52km @ 2600m climb
02 29: 3000m + climb – KOM. 90km @ 3000m climb
03 01: Back to Taipei by bus or cycle back there over next few days.
03 02: Tri Training or fly home
03 03: Tri Training
03 04: Tri Training
03 05: Return SH
