[Ride] Relaxed Dianshan Lake – 20th June 2015.

Today was a first normal ride after last racing weekend and pouring rains over the following week. Great weather resulted in a big group coming to HQM. We started as usual – slow from HQM, first left turn and we already knew who will be in which group (at the start we knew only who will be in the fastest group – Guillaume, Scott, Joe, Jens and few other crazy fast riders). Pace was high and some of us decided not to try to follow the fastest group as that was reserved only for the riders that race or ultratough amateurs. Second group was doing nice pace but few riders didn’t know how to ride in a group – overtaking, going wide, zigzags… our safety was in danger. Thankfully nothing has happened on the way to the drinkstand. After we all came there we had a discussion – do we go to the canals or we go to the lake… fastest guys decided to do canals, some of people decided to go to the lake. When me and Uwe started the ride for the lake group nobody followed us… so we continued and did double lake side, others either went back home or went with Joe and Guillaume through canals.
