This just in from Pudong Cycling’s Ridemeister, Allen Lueth:
The weekend is here, dry and cold tomorrow, uncertain on Sunday, AQI, well, not exactly where we would like it to be. Many of us ride even with high PM2.5, make your own choice. Like last weekend, I will be keeping my pace capped at ~ 35 kph, while others may go faster. For those of you who want to keep with the winter riding speed, stay with me and we will have a nice, even pace.
Saturday we meet at the German Centre on Londong Road at 6:45, riding down Gao Ke Road to Shen Jiang Road eventually over to our standard drink stand by the airport. Round trip 80 km, potential extension on the return would take that up another 10 to 15 km.
Sunday we also meet at the German Centre at 6:45 and head straight west on Long Dong / Long Yang Road to the Expo, where we meet up with the Puxi guys at la parisienne coffee shop at 7:10 and then a couple of laps around Expo. Optional coffee at the end of the ride, we stopped last week after a very enjoyable ride.
